Interactive Survey 2009
The Service Desk Institute's (SDI) Annual Conference took place on the 9th and 10th of June 2009 at the Grand Hotel in Brighton.
The 2 days were packed with informative seminars, keynote speeches and group breakout sessions. Delegates were asked to choose from 4 streams: People and Tools, Customer Service, Strategy and Processes and Best Practice. All those attending were able to learn something new about a variety of subjects including, the art of motivation, implementing ITIL v3, recruitment, shortcuts to reducing service demand, ISO20000 and more.
One of the highlights during the conference was the Interactive Survey where over 150 delegates joined together to answer questions via a live voting system. The results make for enlightening reading and give a real insight into IT Service Professionals' understanding and opinion of some of the key areas in the IT Service Management (ITSM) industry.
