Standards Committees
An international committee comprising industry experts, service management professionals and practitioners review SDI Standards every three years to ensure that they align with the needs and demands of the industry.
SDI has recently completed the 2011 update of its professional standards for professionals to incorporate the latest thinking and technologies for delivering quality IT support services. The revised standards clarify and enhance existing best practices and metrics and identify new best practices for topics such as using social media technologies in a service desk environment.
